Solar on South African roofs, one install at a time.

Every property is different, so every system is specified against that property rather than against a package. Homes, apartment blocks and businesses each get a solution designed for the roof, the load and the bill in front of us.

Our own installing network on a rooftop array, which is why the Certificate of Compliance comes from the people who put it on the roof.

How we help you generate your sun savings.

Five stages, in order. Each one is ours: we do not hand a client between a designer, an installer and a financier who have never spoken.

  1. Solution design

Our team of expert engineers will work with you to design a solar power system sized to your roof, your load and the hours you actually use power. We use cutting-edge design software to optimize the size and placement of your solar panels and configuration of your solution.

  2. Procurement

We only use the highest-quality solar panels and equipment from reputable manufacturers. We understand that a solar power system is a significant investment, which is why we carefully select the best products that will stand the test of time.

  3. Installation

Our team of experienced technicians will handle the installation of your solar power system from start to finish. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and commitment to safety, ensuring that your system is installed to the highest standards.

  4. Financing

We understand that the upfront cost of a solar power system can be a significant barrier for many customers. That's why we offer a range of financing options to make it easier for you to switch to solar power. Our financing options include leasing, loan financing, and power purchase agreements (PPAs). We work with reputable financial partners to offer competitive rates and flexible terms.

  5. Support

At Sun Savings, we stand behind our products and services. We offer a comprehensive support package that includes a warranty on all our installations, regular maintenance checks, and ongoing technical support. Our team of experts is always on hand to answer any questions or concerns you may have, ensuring that you get the most out of your solar power system.

Where we install.

Four provinces, covered by our own installing network. If your address is not on this list, ask anyway. It is a short call, and the answer is either yes or a straight no.

What arrives with the system.

Solar gets sold on promises, and most of them are impossible to check until something goes wrong. These are the ones written into the agreement, so you can hold us to every line.

  • Installation included, not invoiced separately
  • Certificate of Compliance on every install
  • Council registration handled
  • 5 year hardware warranty
  • 18 month workmanship guarantee
  • 3 free callouts
  • 0% escalation for the full 61 month term

What we will not put a number on

We do not publish a savings figure. Not a percentage off your bill, not a payback period, not a ten year return. Every one of those numbers rests on a house that never changes, and houses change. Somebody adds a pool pump, a tenant moves in, a tariff is restructured, and a headline from four years ago is still sitting there being quoted back.

What we will do is work it through with you against a real bill, in the conversation, where the assumptions can be said out loud and argued with.

The packages work the same way. They are guidelines, not quotes. Once we have your bill we start from it and specify the actual inverter, battery and panels around your roof, your load and the brands you prefer, so what you end up buying is often not the package you first clicked on.
